300 miles!

It took me longer than expected (a month or more of not swimming due to travel and Samena remodelling), but I finally reached 300 miles this night. I swam four miles this evening putting me at 303 miles since I first started keeping track. Since the summer, I've been averaging six miles a week. But the for the last month, I've managed seven miles and sometimes eight miles a week.

I've also taken up karate this year and have had four lessons. I'll miss the next promotion test as I started more than halfway through the current round of lessons. I'd like to go more than twice a week, but I have too many other responsibilities in the evenings to do that.
